The Office of the Architect for the University (OAU) provides an integrated methodology for planning and design excellence by creating and improving a model academic environment consistent with UVA's status as one of the leading public universities in the world.
The office is organized by professional disciplines: Architecture & Sustainability, Historic Preservation. Land Use Planning, Landscape Architecture, and Strategic Space Planning.
We are located on the 3rd floor of O'Neil Hall, a newly renovated and repurposed building from 1924 that was formerly used as faculty apartment housing.

When you arrive at O'Neil Hall, please see the front office to obtain a parking permit and directions for where to park. Please note that parking at O'Neil Hall is limited.
